Jennifer has over 20 years of experience as a counselor with the Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute and she takes an eclectic approach to therapy that enables her to specialize her treatment to the needs of the client. She sees individuals for anxiety, trauma, depression, and adjustments to situations in life.
Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University and her master’s degree in counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. She also earned a Master’s in Law with a concentration in health law from the University of Pittsburgh. Jennifer is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) level 1 & 2 therapy. She is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) and an active alumnus to the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her friends, family, and dogs. Jennifer is a Christian and comfortable exploring different religions or spiritual paths with her clients. She has an open mind as she has taken her own spiritual journey in her background.
