    Carolyn Kaminski, LCSW

    Biography

    Carolyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with special interest in integrated healthcare to destigmatize behavioral health treatment and to outreach a broader population. Carolyn has spent the majority of the past 7 years working with veterans and their family members/caregivers through the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has had particular focus in the following areas: medical social work, brief, solution-focused therapy, assessment for lethality/crisis response in the primary care/outpatient setting, facilitation of support groups, coaching through caregiver burden and life changes, and acting as the Former Prisoner of War Advocate for the Butler VA.


    Carolyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, a Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling from Carlow University, and a Master of Social Work degree with a Certificate in Integrated Healthcare from the University of Pittsburgh.


    When she is not working, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family. She adores supporting her 2 children in their creative endeavors and assisting them with their exploration of this beautiful world around them.
