Arthur Zipris, PhD

Biography

 A licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty years’ of experience in treating individuals, couples, and families, Dr. Zipris graduated from Duquesne University and interned with the V.A. Hospital specializing in treating substance abuse.  In addition to his clinical work he offers on-going training programs and seminars in family systems theory, in its application not only to clinical work, but to work settings. He consults with businesses regarding the emotional functioning of the workplace. He has worked as a family therapy consultant and trainer to mental health and substance abuse clinic in the Pittsburgh area and has developed training programs for non-professionals in understanding family process.
