Steadfast Support

March 19, 2020

The Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute (PPI) remains open and available to its clients and the community.

To continue to provide services to as many individuals, couples, and families as possible, PPI has shifted from in person counseling and education to telecommunications. This means that we have built, and are offering, ongoing and new therapy services to all seeking our support.

Telecommunications means using several ways in which our counselors are able to meet with you that do not require face to face interaction.  The CDC recommendations are critical to keep you and our staff safe while also honoring our community’s well-being.

If you currently see a counselor at PPI, please feel free to reach out to your therapist directly if they have not already contacted you.  They will walk you through your options and be available to you to make this change as easy and comfortable as possible.

If you are seeking PPI’s counseling services please complete the new client registration online. Our Intake team will reach out to you and discuss your options and guide you toward a therapist to begin receiving the support you need.

We invite you to follow this Website and PPI’s Facebook page for ongoing updates as they occur. Our face to face counseling services will resume once this temporary situation changes.

If you are in crisis please call the ReSolve hotline at 1-888-796-8226.

The Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute (PPI) remains open to provide essential care to our clients as we continue to monitor these challenging times due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).  We are committed to the safety and well-being of our staff and guests.  Following universal precautions provided by the CDC, we join our community to help stop the spread of germs and be mindful to the symptoms.  As conditions continue to change we strive to offer as many resources as possible and provide PPI updates as needed on this page.  We continue to uphold our mission and seek to enhance the health of individuals, families and communities through our interfaith ministry.  Click here for additional information to consider.
