Doreen has been a counselor for over 16 years and has enjoyed watching clients realize the wisdom and strength they have and the freedom they exuberate in their final session. Her specialties are in to helping individuals with issues in domestic violence, trauma resolution, depression and anxiety. She is a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with specialized training in Genesis Addiction Process and takes a Christian approach to therapy.
Doreen is also the founder of Enduring Hope Christ-Centered Counseling for women spiritually, emotionally, or physically at risk. She earned a bachelor’s degree in community ministries from Geneva College and her master’s degree in community counseling from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Doreen is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and she is open to talking as little or as much about faith and spirituality as a client wishes.
When she is not working, she loves to keep learning, outdoor activities like hiking, biking and walking. She also enjoys music, dancing and time with her family.
